Uh - any snow to low levels wasn't forecast until the early hours of tomorrow.

Fingers crossed. More snow in it now up here, but as i feared, the main band is now past me. Could be the 3rd bust this week! :(

Looks like the cold uppers are not quite makings where the decent precipitation is.

Hopefully change through the night.

Still looking good in my opinion. The center is clear and elongating albeit still moving north east (and probably further north than forecast actually). Once we get south and west of the center then we should start to see a change to snow.

Any temperature reports?

Case in point for folk worrying. The low's center passed Manchester Airport and winds went from SE to W inside an hour, there was a 2C temperature drop.

Once the low passes over, north or underneath of us all that precipitation between Liverpool and Carslile will sink south and deliver overnight.

Thick fluffy sleet here when I jumped into bed at 11.45ish in Sheffield.

euro 4 is a significant improvement on the previous run. West and South Yorkshire are well placed. Not so certain of East South Yorkshire I'm afraid.
