Looking at the trajectory places further north Like Leeds are stuck on a fine line it could easily skid to the south.

Like the NAE it's a bit hit and miss, I'm just looking it on the basis it shows the potential for some very decent bursts of snow and around our neck of the woods.

I think west yorkshire should easily see 2/3cm widely but if this sweet spot/organised band bushes in late morning as planned we may be looking at 7/8 cm, even down to about 100m.

But saying that as soon as the precipitation turns light it should readily melt below 300m, I'm just hoping for some disruption early morning so I canmaybe leave work early and have an easy day haha.

I think for those who wake up early tomorrow may be dissapointed. I think showers will be a bit hit and miss, with temperatures a little on the marginal side Midnight-6am. Between 6am and 10am temperatures will be supportive of lowland settling snow but as ever with showers will be hit and miss, we may see some accumulations during this time (dont get me wrong some accumulations are possible even very early morning) but it's around 11am-2pm that is key can we get this organised heavy band of snow push in from the west? This is were an inch or 2 an hour could quickly fall. Favoured areas definatly west/south yorkshire. Sweet spot probably woodhead pass. Lowland areas bradford or halifax for my money.

Check out that ppn NW of ireland, some sferics in there too:)

http://beta.meteoradar.co.uk/zoom/1242/887/bliksem?zoom=6#

looking at tomorrow morning at 10:am from the 12z gfs, subject to change in incremental detail of cause,a nice little zippy of a low there with dew points just right at -0 to -1 but the ppn is a little to far north of here but would head SE through the day

21-101UK.thumb.GIF.279c4f7ea7aab97034c8021-21UK.thumb.GIF.2e6ec3f1bb2974a203d18f21-779UK.thumb.GIF.07a85dc0e989ca895eef8

into tomorrow evening(22:00 hrs) there is another feature heading down from the north, altough dewpoints look a bit marginal in the west

theres that word again MARGINAL lol

Trying to snow here the slightest of covering on my car! Looking at radar but been no expert doesn't the system look a couple of hours behind its track?

Well there was some sleet mixed into it. Sadly the weather system once again too weak and a bit further north than predicted. Dew points and everything else pointed to snow however the main ingredient precipitation wasn't really there without that no cookie.

About on time but not quite as active as shown yesterday so the area not as large. To get a better picture don't use the new scales on net-weather extra as they don't show enough detail. Use the old and you'll see the band is more fragmented and lighter in nature.

I suspect mostly rain away from the highest peaks. Lack of cold uppers which sit annoyingly to the south of the low pressure so the south midlands might do quite well from it.
