Had a couple of light flurries overnight from coastal showers, amounting to nothing really! Pretty cold this morning at -2.2C.

Great to see most of the region got some snow last night!

Send a bit this way next time though!!

Depsite the temp being 0.6C and a dewpoint of 0 the snow seems to be melting so dosen't look as pretty as last night

Now we have to look at when we will get our next lot! hoping next time for alot more

chance of some colder conditions developing from late January onwards

Here's the pick of my pics from the North York Moors yesterday, and my street in Garforth and Temple Newsam in Leeds, both this morning. First/Second time using my first ever DSLR so they may not quite be professional standard lol. Enjoy, especially all those who missed out this time...

Steady thaw temps now above freezing however it was melting on the pavements when it was below zero earlier on. 4cm total.

Temperature holding at 0.9c here but snow melting from the pavements now.  Probably had 3-4 centimetres overnight.

Not much more snow to come by the looks of things (from this cold spell anyway) but it cannot be ruled out completely until the models get to grips with the situation for the end of the week.

You would have to favour a very slow transition to milder conditions by Friday as matters stand though.

Looks to be a band of light showers developing and pushing in from the SW just now. We might see a few flurries before it goes dark :)

Im not expecting much tomorrow, but as last nights weather showed us, things can change lol...

I've been watching that, would love to see a few snow showers out of that but I think that is being very hopeful to say the least!

Was very pleased with the 4/5cm we got last night though :)

Given the last week or so, anything could happen. I won't be ruling anything out again this winter haha :)

Has much of your snow melted? Hoping to see some Tuesday morning when back! Don't think we'll get much tonight or tomorrow, although remnants of the precipitation from the west may be enough to lead to a few flurries (should they make it)

Hi. Its melted a little yes, but still a covering on most surfaces. The side roads like mine are slushy but the main road is clear now. About an inch left mostly on grass and pavements etc.

Im hoping that the very slow melt has stopped now as were heading into night but looking at the forecast its showing mostly cloudy and temps around 0c. Was hoping it woud be clearer and get lower to freeze it.

As you say, just have to see if anything pops up tomorrow. Might just be a few flurries again like this afternoon :)

So a slight thaw, having lower elevation I reckon a bit more of a thaw where I am! As you say temperatures struggling to get much below freezing tonight,  especially with cloud cover. I shall not be too disappointed if it all goes. Hopefully a nice east or north easter in February!

Quite a big thaw here today.  Roads and pavements now almost clear and patchy cover left on grass.

Temperature down to 0.6c but I cannot see much of a frost tonight if skies don't clear.

Not much left around here though still enough for those pesky kids to throw snowballs at people's windows.

That was short lived. Just as it was starting to stick, it stopped snowing.

For those in Sheffield just been up walking at Cannings plantation with the family we got there and it was already snowing very finely.

Went to the top of the woods and let them have a play on the sledges for half hour while we were up at the top the snow got heavier so medium sized flakes mixed in it gradually got heavier.

So we decided to make a move back to the cars by the time we had got back the whole road was covered all the way back to the top of Bents Green.

My car being absolutely garbage in snow i breather a huge sigh of relief when i got back on the roads with no snow lol.

Still snowing here
