A windy night with short moderate-heavy showers of snow and hail. Just over 1cm of lying snow and hail early this morning but it's thawing steadily in the sun and will certainly be less than 50% cover by 0900 g.m.t.

Dry and breezy with sunny spells in the morning, cloudier in the afternoon with light showers.  Maximum 10.9, minimum 3.5.  Wind moderate W.

 

Yesterday: mainly dry and windy with sunny spells and a single short shower late afternoon.  Maximum 13.0, minimum 7.4.  Wind fresh to strong WNW with occasional gusts to gale force.
