Becoming increasingly juicy for Tour 1 Day 1 on Saturday and might only be 3hrs from DFW. I expect at least a MDT from SPC in the Friday update. My GPS plug doesnt arrive until Sat do I might be tugging at the tail of the Sherman caravan for this one lol.

Not a bad location IMO, although watch those obs for a DL adjustment!

Last evening of virtual targets. Tomorrow for ten days it's for real!

Paul Botten (Sherman) and Ian Michaelwaite, who are going out a few days early to set-up, currently flying over Michigan Dallas bound I believe, landing 20:50 BST. Looks like they could have some big hailers on their doorstep when they arrive, MU/MLCAPE approaching 4000 j/kg in DFW area!

With regards to target today, I'm going for Pratt, Kansas. Stronger 500mb SWly winds over KS, plus low-level southerly going to create strong shear and with 65F dewpoints surging north - there should be some strongly rotating storms over central Kansas and good potential for tornadoes too

Yh, bit of a gamble on this one. Hopefully the storms won't be as likely to be HP further south, although initiation is questionable in western OK. Good environment there if something does fire.

Ramping up on the cell that's just left Chickasha.  Spinning nicely now... potential for a large tornado.  Hook looks amazing on radar.

Multiple vortices touching down at Amber.. Gonna be a big'un

yep currently watching that could be half mile wide

wow maybe F4

Crazy night. Not been able to keep up with all the tornadoes. Flash flooding is a serious issue in the OKC area tonight.

Yes, it has been a wild night for OK. Flooding now a real issue. News9 has the best coverage IMO and don't forget streamers on TVN.

First EVER Flash Flood Emergency Issued by NWS OUN!

And watching the tv coverage over here it is dreadfull, the I35 Near Moore, well you could go water skiing on it tonight, also cars completely submerged, and still it rains and hails!

Was watching the flooding on the early morning chasers that were still out @ 5am (UK time), fair bit of rain to say the least.

Looking like a busy night with 29 T's and the largest hail reported @ 2.75"

Friday moving into MDT zone now. Sat looking silly. Cells plunging across the DL into SW OK riding circa 65kn H400 jet - not for the faint hearted but at least the topography and road grid is favourable - something a lone chaser like me appreciates!

I won't be out tonight - motel booked and gear to set up. Then it's three nights of action before a few days down (already have the Greensburg memorial on my radar - somewhere every chaser should visit IMO)
