Big day is nearly here, so is a forecast for cloud in the north, boo! What will happen and how is the weather looking for Friday morning here and for the path of totality.

It is looking like the Midlands where I am is going to get patchy cloud but this will show enough of the partial eclipse. I have my telescope, bins and camera all set up and ready with solar filters and will be outside by 8am tomorrow ready for the big event!!

 

I only wish that I had been in Buxton on Tuesday night when the Northern Lights gave one of its best shows in Britain!!
