In a world where most of the news is bad news the above relates to a Falmouth community policeman who died quite tragically at the early age of 52 years - quite clearly the tribute given by the local population speaks for itself giving rise to this bitter sweet situation.

 

I suspect from the report that he was just an ordinary copper doing a job he loved and his being there made a difference.

 

Fortunately we still have a few of the unsung heroes about who give more than they take from life.

 

RIP Andy Hocking, obviously a short but fruitful life and condolences to his family who can quite justly be proud of him.
