Last night turned out preety cold for many, colder than forecast - patchy frost was all that was mentioned, many places in northern parts went below 0.

We had an air frost , -1 degrees, bright sunny start but cloud quickly rolled in with a very wet late morning, lunchtime early afternoon period. A drier late afternoon. Dry this evening and milder than yesterday current temp 5.4 degrees.

All in all a very typical early spring day.
