We had a torrential downpour here over the last hour, a lot of large puddles around. But in the end the thundery activity never even got close to us.

just hope it doesnt rain here again in hereford.. roof started leaking last night around the kitchen light and the kitchen is rather wet... told my mother more than once not to try and turn the light and and the first thing she does is turn the kitchen light on despite the light not working for a couple of weeks and needing a new strobe light we havent gotten around to getting :/

Yes, not only expected by us on here but as per the forecast too.

 

Couldn't believe people were looking at the storms over Biscay last night and getting excited that they could make it to our shores. It does happen of course, but it's rare.

I don't think there's any action likely today. Tonight, and tomorrow looks good though, for heavy showers at least. :)

Couldn't believe people were looking at the storms over Biscay last night and getting excited that they could make it to our shores. It does happen of course, but it's rare.

We were probably asking too much at this time of year, late summer/early Autumn this would have been easy. Still there were some lively downpours. 

So beyond this, probably the risk of thundery showers today and tomorrow before drying out at the end of the week.

No point wondering about next week yet, though there are signs it could get pretty warm.

Looks like the ppn travelling up from S Wales into the Midlands.... will graze the western edges of Birmingham

No sparks expected but a chance to experiment with some new settings to Brumcam

A few strikes close to Dublin, plenty of potent showers around Wales aswell but sferic's aren't living up to expectations today. Just too much cloud around inhibiting surface temps.
