Final March CET confirmed at 6.4 (6.39).  So historically an above average month, but a very average March by the standards of recent years.  So again we have avoided a cold March.  Apart from the exception of 2013 there have been very few colder than average Marches since the 1980s.  Since 1987 only five Marches have seen a CET under 6.0*C.

Just 0.1C out, a good effort for me considering my poor record in these competitions :p

Lol I did sensational just 0.3 out in comparison to past displays when I was a light year out ever since the dawn of Winter I've been flogging a dead horse with my sensationalism, serves me right. :)

Justification:

0.0C please I think we are going to get a synoptic not seen in many years... February will be bitter, and almost relentless easing into March. I see lows forming in cold air resulting in snow storms. It will be a month characterised by snow, gales & disruption. I do not see it being extraordinarily cold however the windchill will be brutal - it will persist and anchor down, with troughs & disturbances in abundance delivering snow for many.
