A funny night with the max temp occurring after midnight. A dry start with high level cloud.

Yesterdays max 4.7C now 2.2C and falling

A slight ground frost with the low now at 1.4C, no wind and half cover of Ci and Contrails with the odd patch of Sc

Clear spells for a time last night, turning cloudy through the early hours. The morning do far has been overcast, dull. Frost lifting. Cloudy and dry for the rest of the day. The early evening saw cloud thinning allowing for a quickly developing ground frost.

A dry and mainly clear night. An increasing NW breeze yesterday evening ( gusting 28 mph at 0115 )  accompanied by a rise in temperature with the maximum of 3.7c reached shortly after midnight . Despite the rise in temperature the dew point remained low and the snow cover was frozen hard.

Dry and sunny at the moment with thin Ci.

A dry sunny mild day after an ground frost. despite the high temperatures snow patches have remained in the garden and moors have retained their wintry look.

Well what a lovely spring like day, very little cloud, not much breeze and a high of 10.9C, the highest since the unusually high values in the first 2 weeks of January, the highest last one being 11.8C on the 12th January.

Been at or close to freezing all day here, under a fairly dense bank of fog. A mate posted a picture Facebook, looks like an inversion as above was clear as a bell. Cleared out a little 3 ish and temp rose a tad, but still not the day to wash your car! Temps dropped back now. Tarn Hows (google it if you don't know of it!) is frozen over solid, not thick enough to walk on, but still very atmospheric!

A dry and sunny day with the snow cover showing remarkable persistence despite a maximum of 6.7c. The wind strengthened from the north west during mid-afternoon and there was a rapid fall in temperature, from 6.7c at 1356 to 0.1c 3 hours later.
