A very blustery shower has just come out of nowhere here.

Again, not allowed to post anything negative weather wise because of another members comments about me. So everything is amazing up here in North Cheshire right now...grey skies. Rain. 11c. Love it................................

Not a bad afternoon but trust me to get wet when going out in the morning and coming home in the evening. The former the kind of autumnal drizzly crap which has been far too prevalent this May and should be banned by royal decree, the latter a magically-appearing part-hail downpour which hung over me while everywhere around was dry.

Another grey wet chilly morning, this is ridiculous for May. My heating is still on at times and  I have worn woolly socks for bed more these last few weeks than I have the whole of winter,.........global warming!! my ass

Breezy, showery and cold - Liverpool ATIS currently reporting 10C.  Is this late May or late March?

Looks like the Anomalous Northwesterly has already set in for the rest of "summer".  For the past few years while everywhere else has been warming up, a persistant tongue of cold licks down from the Arctic to cover the entire UK.  Wherever the Jet Stream is situated, it dives down to circle the UK then loops back up north.

Turned into a pleasant-ish evening here. Scattered Cu and plenty of blue sky. Bit envious of all those cells down South atm though!

Nothing to say but fed up :(....

Cold wet and fed up.

Heavy hail and sleet here at lunchtime and the temperature at 1pm was only 6c.

It's dried up this afternoon but even with the sun out it's feels damn cold.

Role on winter, at least our cold North Westerly's will change to milder South Westerly's then.

A couple of hours in the garden and exposure has set in.

At least the grass has all but stopped growing.

Some nice clouds, illuminated by the setting sun, see out a good day of convection:
