An unusual night, frost by 1830 clearing by 2230 as cloud rolled in, so a low of 2.2C at midnight, and no frost of either kind this morning, complete cloud cover, little breeze, dry.

A dry and cloudy day with a slow thaw. Most of the cloud cleared towards the end of the afternoon and the snow surface froze by sunset despite the air temperature showing little change.
