Lol yes why not!!

Stunning day now, it's been blue sky and sunshine since not long after I posted 3 hours ago!

Enjoy it! Stuck in the underground office mostly...

This would really be the final knife in the back from this winter if this came to fruition!

Bristol snow shield still remaining strong, very frustrating have had no days of laying snow at all yet, have seen the odd flakes here and there better than nothing but I want to be able to make a snowman!  :sorry:

The WBFL looks OK for many, dew points look ominous though. My hunch says that high ground is favoured the more west you are.

Yes, but how much of it will be snow. With upper air temps you would think yes....but that proves to be wrong with regards to my post above.

The current weather is fantastic, sunny skies, cool and dry. Dry being the important word. If this carries on for the next two weeks I will be delighted. Means I can get in the garden early and tidy up, paint fences etc ready for spring!!

Indeed, this is why we would want a later arrival to aid with snowfall. Dew points will be varied around our region it seems, another nowcast event is appearing!

Just noticed the meto have brought the warning forward from 6pm tonight. The other night the meto warned of 1cm and we got about 4cm so tonight / tomorrow they say 1-3 so I am hoping for for about 6 or 7cm however they will probably have this one correct this time knowing my luck! Hope it gets interesting!

Something that's been catching my eye is tomorrow early evening.

GFS 06z (+33hr)                          NMM (+36hr)

attachicon.gifGFS +33hr.gif attachicon.gifNMM +36hr.png

Both in agreement with a trough moving south, but timings differ. NMM is the one you would want, with PPN arriving around 7pm.

Bank ;)

The lunchtime BBC forecast showed showers spreading WSW tomorrow morning from quite early on, but with the wording ICE on the screen. To me that screams freezing rain or drizzle which would be nasty. I do not wish to be working outside in that, I would far prefer snow flurries.

Ian's Points West forecast will be interesting (as always) this evening to see what precipitation he thinks is likely.

I'm 26 but get told I look older, not good!

This possible streamer for tomorrow... I think it will arrive mid afternoon and will probably be snow but temps will be too high for it to really settle.

Ideally we need it to arrive 7pm onwards!
