Well surprise surprise the snow missed us again.

-1C and frosty.

Think that was last chance for a snow event looking at models for us.

That leaves just Somerset and Bristol inn the dry zone.

Our only hope is for something unexpected like last night to magically appear (fat chance!)

Indeed, woke up to a half hearted attempt at a frost with everything bone dry, safe to say it didn't hit here!

Love that last photo, Mapantz.

Absolutely zilch here, not even a half hearted attempt.  Will wait for OH to come home to report on the Cerne Abbas area

Awww I want chickens :-D Do they even come out in the snow? lol

They do come out but not for long as their little feet will freeze. I put extra wood chippings down and keep them in the pen or they can get frost bite very easily on their feet.

As long as it does not go below -20 they like the cold. Perhaps I could get them some little wellies :D

Woke up with a covering this morning, and increasingly heavy snow falling.  Just looked out of window now and you would never know it had happened!  Thought / hoped it would lay a little bit longer :cc_confused:

Not that I have nothing else better to do but just spotted the odd snow flurry starting to occur on the radar for devon and cornwall. Not a patch on yesterdays fun and games mind!

edit - well lasted long  all gone now

Ours have finally been coaxed out. It's the first snow they've seen, so they're a little bit wary.

From an IMBY prospective what a disappointing cold spell this has turnt in to :cray: Happy for the other places around our regions that got snow though! Hopefully we can be in with a shot of snows at some point, if not I just want spring to get here now so I can go back out fishing.

Dont give up yet ,last nights system never had our name on it but nearly .still time for a trough to bring some snow into somerset from the east .Wed night thursday looking next possible shout .but i would not rule out tonight ,would just be nice to see 5cms and to be up and about to catch it in the act .high pressure looks like being dominant in medium term and possibly longer ,but we could get lucky later but we need a new block on the block if you know what i mean Harry .So chins up and pray ,STellas all round ,and sausage Baps with a bit of brown sauce , :yahoo:  :drinks:

Would be typical that I miss the dusting in London by being here today, then miss a dusting here on Thursday morning by being in London! For heavens' sake weather - either give us a channel low or stalling battleground. All this felinefooting around with snow flurries is getting old.
