You must have nearly a foot now?

2cm at a push, the local downs are copping it though for sure.

Ah yes J13 M4 Newbury/Oxford has whiteout conditions currently.  :shok:

I have no words to say to this I have never felt more depressed by the weather than I do now.

I have been disappointed before but the scale of it and the cruel way th is entire spell has developed is rediculous!

Snizzle has gone now but replaced with snow, steady propper snow.

Just about feel a crunch under foot so nearly 1 cm. temp dropping back down now -1.8.

Night all hope everyone sees at least a dusting.

If the PPn arrives it will be snow!

Got a nice covering of snow in Abingdon. Deeper than what we had a few nights ago, temperature is lower too at exactly 0.0C so hopefully it will stick around a bit longer. I should think if we get clear skies behind this snow band, the temperatures will drop very quickly now.

Nothing is falling. I am in the hole that sits in light ppn as it moves through. North western edge of ppn. Nothing reaching ground.

I'd give it ten to twenty minutes, it's on its way. Albeit you are on the extreme Western edge of said precipitation. Green Ore is what I'm judging this by.

Seriously look at western edge and play back last few frames... hole in ppn I am Sat in it. Its now clearing to my south with no decent ppn to come as it clears south of here soon.

Yep, you'll probably be able to claim a few more flakes but I think you are too far West, a damn fine call though.

Bed beckons for moi.

Well that was unexpected! An impressive 5cm here in Aylesbury! Still snowing lightly with the temperature hovering just above 0 at 0.3 Celsius :)

Don't see it often but it's like it runs out if energy then hasn't got enough to climb the higher mendips without evaporating. :-(

Still trying hard in Newbury to provide us with up to an inch and a bit but the local downs between Swindon and Newbury and South of there look likely to have had a good two to three inches given the heavier bursts continually heading that way.

Same! A fine dust settling on all surfaces. :)

5000 lumens show is up nicely. I'll try and get a pic.

I cannot fault the Netatmo forecast! A fine covering now, and the moon is still pulsing through.
