Yep really coming down now in Ealing, a good thick covering on all surfaces, roads included so debating whether to risk my 70 mile commute this morning

Light snow here now, it looks like it is falling heavier over the other side of the city though.

Edit it is getting heavier now, only very small flakes though, it is settling though.

Just landed at heathrow and snowing nicely and settling. Thought I'd seen the back of the snow in Toronto

A very light dusting here, mostly helped by the below freezing surface temperatures. Looks like a stream of light snow is developing NE/SW and peps up as it passes here, it could be an interesting morning for London.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but tomorrow's snow has been downgraded now to rain and sleet by Carol Kirkwood. So the heavy showers forecasted don't look like happening. Temperatures look too high at 6c. But who knows?

Croydon and other parts of SW London are doing really well out of this train of showers. One after the other hitting the same spot. As I mentioned last night that Oxford were in a sweet spot. 7cm according to Carol K. The BBC said yesterday lunchtime that there would be nothing disruptive. Got it wrong again

Sneaked out at 5.30 this morning under the pretence of scraping the snow off the car....well I did...into my first snowball for 2years....threw it high and the air and laughed like a 5year old. Obviously that was the exact moment the neighbours were getting in their car! Very red faced I sheepishly came back in :)

Absolutely nothing here. I fear the snow ship has sailed for now

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
