E14 Docklands where I'm working so just below your area John

The snow hasn't even entered the Gtr London area yet. It's just pushing in from the NNE now..

Annoying, isn't it?

Just as bad up here in East Suffolk, another colossal disappointment.

Can absolutely guarantee that when it all turns to sleet and rain tomorrow/Weds we will get plenty of showers hitting us.......

Is the dark green in the far south east corner deeper snowfall please?

No it's the colour my front lawn will be when I wake up in the morning!

What part of east london are you?

John, I'm just south of you in Woodford Green.  Looks like we are going to miss this one by just a few miles....?

Wow.. Anyone seen that halo around the moon

Yes I just got back home and walking from the car to the house looked up to see that halo, really beautiful, not sure I've seen one like that before... Has it made up for the lack of snow here on the East Sussex Coast not quite!!

As the blob moves further south the westerly drift is reducing and not far from been direct south around luton.. Love to see the upper steering winds, can it veer another 10 degrees and give the whole of london and the south east the money shot..

The system should push in as the winds are northwesterly in the NW of our region...http://www.xcweather.co.uk

Hope so! Apart from a bit of very wet sleet the other day I haven't yet seen any snow this winter here....maybe it's west London, Middlesex and Surrey's turn?

The main band of ppn seems to be moving in a more southern direction. North London might find itself in the line of fire.

Might be in line for something - radar is showing showers further east in the North Sea which are heading my way.
