Most boring winter weather (without even exaggerating) possibly approaching by later next week. That being mild days, chilli nights, very dry conditions and calm winds. Honestly, I don't see much improvement on last winter; very limited snow (in England) and scattered, temperatures always freeze-thaw meaning hardly cold enough in the day for snow to settle, and when it is cold, the snow doesn't even fall. I haven't had any lying snow this winter, and that polar low was a huge let down. Anyways, hopefully this isn't the outcome.

The SE will be favourite for snow showers as we pull in a cold NE-ly for a time.

Its much better to last winter, who wants floods.

Arrived home at 3am, thanks to a snowstorm at Geneva, even the train from Bern to Geneva via Lausanne had to slow down. Not often I have seen snow lying in the lower vineyards there, the train down to about 25mph at times east of Fribourg.

Plenty of snow of the Peak Distriuct, had to use to Woodhead, road clear but plenty on the sides, and snow/sleet showers here this morning with patches on roofs and garden. Looking at local data and my own that is 5 perhaps 7 days with snow this month and 3 lying so a bit different to last years?

Max 5.2C and Min 0.5C prior to the showers.
