As posted in southeast thread the wind vectors at 700hpa is showing a shift slightly which explains the move in direction . So it is moving south west it's official lol

Still getting colder in Soton. And the ppn has not fizzled out as much as I feared... fingers crossed!

Marky my son! Looking beautiful in Oxford :D can't wait to get back there tomorrow afternoon. Hope it doesn't melt much!!

The transition is quite surprising here. Only a dusting out the coach window now. Bombing down the M1 but not sure whereabouts exactly. I would guess Northamptonshire. Not as much here as Milton Keynes!

I think we need to think of a master plan to take down the Bristol snow shield.... What we need to do is fly in to the Alien space craft and upload a virus to it only for us to get stuck in one of the little ships, we could then release a snowball in to it that would dislodge us giving us 5 minutes to get out of there as the clock is ticking and the door is closing we will just sneak out in the amount of time only for the whole thing to blow, as precipitation is then over Bristol it will give it time to fall as snow, before another mother ship can come back and then infect us with another snow shield.

OK, I really need snow here before I go even more crazy!    ;)

Oh my word that precipitation is so close it's untrue. It will be a miracle for it to survive over Bristol!

I've got a bad feeling about this, from an IMBY perspective. I can see it breaking up and drifting westwards. Don't think I'll be having a day playing in the snow with my husky tomorrow, anyway. Hope I'm proven wrong!  Night, all, and hope everyone enjoys some surprise depths :D
