Was this even forecast?! All i can see on the GFS PPN charts is very light snow. This is far from light! Milton Keynes are copping it at the moment, about 3cm now and still coming down

I thought that was simply a random image from the internet   but perhaps not. I'd settle for snatching any time at my age as long as it's not my imminent snowfall you're grabbing though. 

 

 

I'm imagining the precipitation will soon start to die out very slowly along its Western edge and the bulk drift slowly ESE, but then again, it hasn't gone to plan as yet.

Just stepped outside of the waiting room again. The snow is very dry! Looks to be close to 4cm now and still not stopping.
