Yes nice sunny day would prefer a good storm though seeing as theres no snow about..I will have a storm instead...so boring this weather for me

Managed to get up to the Pike the other day with the dogs, to catch the snow cover before it melted away;  Still reasonable amounts on the eastern side, but hills facing West are turning green again...

Yes same here; just driven back over the tops from Burnley to Bacup and the snow is quite patchy now but still deep where drifted against the walls.

I don't know whether it was air pollution or the fact that dusk was coming but the hazy sun was making everything a strange colour.

Shame I didn't have the camera with me.

Not a bad day with some sunshine, got up to 6.7c this afternoon, falling fast now down to 2.0c already.

1.0c now which is a bigger drop in temperature this evening than at any time during the 'cold spell'... Hopefully it'll stay clear all night but I doubt it!

We're in dire straights when we start getting excited over a sleet symbol on the BBC!!  :rofl:

 

Already bored of this current spell of weather and it's only just started, more of the same to come!! Wish I was back in Scotland but even the snow is thawing up there.

You can always catch a plane to the east coast of America. Another big freeze is about to hit them.

Ooh mist and fog incoming, always looks weird on security cams, looks like bellowing white smoke!
