Torrential thunder snow! 3-5cm..... Huge flash and huge rumble......

Huge gust just blew snow off neighbours roof and sky lit up with another huge flash and bang! Dramatic!

The pendulum has shifted here now, with a covering left over from the recent lightning/hail shower and snowy flakes evident in it's aftermath.  I'm optimistic that whatever follows now should all be snow and hopefully this will transfer westwards and to lower levels through the night

Melted as soon as it settled pretty much, but still bodes well for showers later on

Never had thunder snow before so that defiantly a first

Plenty of showers this evening but mainly of rain. Some hail mixed in during the heavier bursts.

Perhaps things will turn a bit more wintry later on...

...or perhaps not.

I certainly won't be loosing any sleep over it.
