Yay it really is snowing, heavy fat juicy flakes, very cold out there and very still now. Not sticking on roads too wet but sticking to roofs, cars and bins...if it went on for a bit it wouod stick

nothing happening in preston.... just really light rain at the mo... radar shows we should be getting something heavier any min now..?

bizarre isnt it,  I mean its normal for leyland and chorly to get  it and not us, despite te only being a few miles away.....but  Blackpool and Southport are reporting snow and not us....thats a coastal town to our north and another to the south but none here???

EDIT snowing here now....right for everyone else it should just be a case of how much ppn there is.....marginality is not an issue if its snowing here.

Looks like main bulk could head too far S for the region? This first band has been too far North for here.

Aaron, play the radar loop over past 20 mins. It's pivoting now.

the last band  completely missed my location despite falling as snow less than 1 and 2km away, now thats really messed up, considering it was dry here and still is lol

Doubt it, not here in the west anyway, 4.3c and rising, rain possibly turning to snow at the end.
