Sod all in South Manchester this will probably be like it for the rest of the night. Drip drip drizzle night all!

Not had anything since a mix of hail and snow around 18:00 which left a bit of a covering on roofs/cars.

Hopefully will be joining the action soon but making do with the flashes of lightning occasionally on the northern horizon.

I'm sure I just seen a flash of lightning to the north a few minutes ago...

Same here. No lighting, no thunder, no snow, just occasional rain showers.

Hoping DP's will start to fall away again now but the Urmston snow shield still 100% intact.

DP currently around +0.3

Well as expected sleet, hail etc another 100m elevation or just a bit colder and it would have been all snow.

The usual suspects getting proper snow as it stands by the looks of it

a small sharp shower has given me my first covering of snow (albeit 0.1mm) since moving up here for uni!

Hopefully it will stick around and allow and more showers to accumulate!

After struggling to settle this afternoon this evenings heavy snow showers have left a 3cms covering.

The blowing snow under the lamppost was a really nice sight.

Lovely.
