Currently down in Devon, not far from Salcombe and it has hammered down with

rain here since the early hours of this morning. Fields all waterlogged around here.

Anyway I'm back to the good ole Midlands on Tuesday. I expect 12 ft drifts!

A few ice pellets here too in the last few minutes. We might get a covering of snow from showers tonight as the trough moves south although it will probably be this evening before we know how active the trough is.

Had some sleet showers down here in Oxford this afternoon.

I just had a look at the N-W radar and I can see on the precip type radar that there is some snow falling around the Peak District at the moment.

Which leads me on to my next question... How many feet of snow has Glossop got now?

I'm in Calgary Canada this week and it was 12C today! I keep going to so called cold places and it is always mild when I show up. Anyway should be colder by Wednesday, but of snow in the forecast then, but nothing like Eastern Canada.
