Will be marginal here when it starts but pointless anyway as it will be a quick transition to rain.

Very full radar. That's a lot of rain to get through.

Edit: There we go. Starting off as light rain here anyway it seems.

Agreed Gord, and a thoroughly wet afternoon it's going to be, (Cold rain) :cold: ..... A day for sitting in front of the TV methinks.

Tomorrow looks a lot more interesting! Snow Showers, but where?.... I'll have an eye on the radar for sure :)

Whitchurch and Stretton? -Just disgusting rain here. Those places are no higher, yet they get snow while we get rain. Get lost winter 2014-15, had enough now.

Yes I'm on the train. Snow at Church Stretton, Wem, Whitchurch & Sleet at Crewe.

Rain at Shrewsbury however.

30% snow, 70% rain, here in Brookside Telford, just the very very odd big flake to my surprise within rain, but will be rain ultimately soon

Light wet snow has just started to fall here. The temperature is 1.1c so I doubt there'll be any settling snow unless there's significant evaporative cooling when the heavier precipitation arrives.
