Was gorgeous yesterday, bright blue skies but wind made it really cold.... Tomorrow lookslike an indoor painting day.... Suprised to see how many snowdrops out in glossop/ashton/ denton today..... Mine in garden arent showing yet.....pate n pie in pub in padfield earlier....stuffed.... Yesterday made pancake canelloni with ham, cheese, spinach and homemade bechamel.... Then for dessert pancakes with nutella!

Looking at our local forecast for the next few days there's a lot of wintriness in it. The February 2014 me thinks it's the stuff of dreams.

However, the January 2015 me just isn't interested.

Yes I'm hopeful of adding one or two more 'snow lying' days before the month is out.

Although I've recorded 8 mornings with snow lying at 0900 this month they were all the result of snowfall at the end of January; February has been almost snowless so far with just 0.3cm recorded.

Hi just got in.

Temperature falling quickly under clear skies.

Whilst driving home had a fantastic view of the crescent moon cradling Venus.

It was really beautiful to see.

Max today 6.7C, now at 2.0C

On the radio the forecast mentioned possibilty of sleet /snow showers for overnight and morning.

Is it realistic?

:D  :D

If anyone's interested there are showers heading towards our region across Wales and conditions are favourable for them to be wintry.

Looks very similar to how the radar looked quite a bit throughout January. Not sure I want to go through all of that again and really can't be bothered but if anyone does want to look out then let us know if you see anything.

There's just been a light snow shower in Telford. Some of the pavements around the centre have a slight dusting in places so I presume we must of had a bit in the night too.
