Can't see any reason why it won't reach my area. The clouds have obscured the moon that was shining brightly 30 mins ago. Reckon you guys in Brum are in with a chance too.

Horrible cold grey day today, was expecting a crisp glorious week of winter sunshine but no such luck.

It passed Nottingham and left nothing of note so even if it does make it I wouldn't be expected a good covering- it was still nice to see little icing like snow falling though!

Surprise snow shower... wasn't expecting that.

 

Even if it wasn't heavy it was REALLY nice to see non-marginal snow. It's freezing outside and the ground is freezing, so every flake has settled and not melted. Awesome. Now we just need 20x as much

So not for the west West Midlands, but maybe for the east West Midlands, shading over from the west East Midlands, though the east East Midlands does best?

And more snow ! Just stood outside, fairly moderate to heavy snow shower that is settling on everything. No cars going by and the villages church bells going off in the background, it was like some fairly tale land

Everything has already got a nice sugar coating even roads etc. 

 

Surprising how quickly snow can accumulate given cold enough conditions.
