1c here now do we stick or twist, its risky the ppn to the north could be sleet or snow and its definitely tracking further west but don't really want to take the risk.

Given the slushy mess I now have outside (it's intensified slightly and gone back to sleet, but that's all) it's definitely "twist" for me! The worst that'll happen is that it'll be rain and everything will be green and wet in the morning. That's probably better than a slushy mess!

Seems to be turning more SE. Might even clip Northampton. Evidence of some showery bits forming outside of that which May give a flurry here. Though I'm still hanging my hat on the stuff moving southwards. Favorable conditions, minus 0.8C, dewpoint -2.2C my weather station says.

The band has pepped up as its arrived here. snowing quite heavily which is happy days as i didn't think it would reach this far.

Northampton might just catch this downstream.

Doubt it will make it to this side but chance of some flurries. Mostly watching the stuff over Northern England which is probably on an East of M1 track.

All quiet here now (the streamer looks like just missing here) and there is still some snow on the ground. It's 2 °C, though, and there's a good deal of drip-drip-drip going on. Time for bed, I think. Best I've seen of this spell so far; maybe, just maybe, I can get that tiny extra bit of a push for a proper covering before it's all over. :)
