Hate to say it but you can see reports all over of it raising temps to 4 or 5 degree met has sleet forecast now so can only see the peak district staying as snow. Nite guys and good luck hope it stays as snow but cant see it.

Those climbing temps in the NW are becoming a bit of a worry.

Xcweather weather saying light rain at Leek Thorncliffe, we are screwed if that is true. Can't believe a so called polar low would drag in milder temperatures. That's the Midlands climate for you!

Not sure what reports you are getting but im in central coventry had five minute blizzard and now very light snow no rain at all!

Heavy snowfall again now! Amazing!

Whilst it was snowing it went from0.7C to 1.4C.

Its now dropped back to 0.8C.

 

Liverpool has gone rain to snow to rain and now is turning back to snow again!!!!!

 

Very odd.

 

Not sure where the low is now going.

Main roads and side roads all have a good covering in coventry snow still comming down hard could have a few cms if this holds up!

My geography is awful  but id suspect its aproaching  shrewsbury

OMG I Hope some of you are still up, heaviest snow for years here in 45 min burst absolutely unreal, left te pub 11.30 and its put down 3 inches in 45mins vids to follow.

Can't believe some people are going to bed when there's a chance of heavy snow, yeah it might be rain but have to wait and see!
