A dry night with clear spells developing after a cloudy start. Hill fog developed by 0500 and quickly became thick.

Currently it's dry and foggy after the coldest night of the winter so far.

A cold morning with thick freezing fog until 1030 and then a sheet of St once it had lifted. The afternoon began dry followed by a short spell of light rain around 1400, this followed by occasional drizzle and dry periods. A slow thaw set in during the afternoon.

Clear start with a hard frost, eventually clouded over by sunset, with noticeably milder air coming in. The coldest night here since 31 March 2013, when we had the same minimum temperature. Maximum 5.3, minimum -4.8 (with -6 recorded widely in the area). Wind light variable.
