Oh God... it needs to get heavier... snow then hopefully. I haven't checked the temp and DP here in Medway.

Had snow here with no cloud a little while ago, very light, my daughter looked and said it was star dust falling, as you could see the stars and the moon. Really was beautiful, I'm thinking things may be warming up if lighter stuff is falling as sleet. Fingers crossed heavier stuff will still be snow.

All snow here, more from EW: @LondonSnowWatch @yamkin1 Very nice the current radar, could be a decent snow event before dawn.

I'm sure the heavier stuff will still be snow ... and omg... 'star dust falling' that's such a beautiful thing to say from yourdaughter, so very sweet :)

So far, the ppn is just a mile or two East of my location, and the next wee shaft of ppn looks to be doing the same... The Cheshire Gap certainly favours those to the East of the capital, let's hope the convection continues to build as it heads down.

The band moving through London into Essex/Kent has picked up a more Easterly movement rather than the SE it was previously. Good to see snow reports coming in from underneath it.

Is it settling?

400 schools closed, an airport shut, roads shut , how much snow has there been up north? Meanwhile, snow is on its way, should arrive here by 2.04am and 32 seconds. :cold: :cold: :cold:

You can really see how Western areas are dealing with the milder sector whilst us further East see all snow

To low down & to mild.

Need 100/150 M now.

That's not good news considering I'm sitting at sea level..
