Just started very lightly snowing here, with a lovely 'blob' just to my North... what fun!!!! ;)

Properly snowing here now, wet flakes but look like they will settle in heavier bursts.

You are correct. MetO advised Croydon Council about snow showers around approx 6am. The emergency control centre is now aware of this unexpected band of snow and will be updating the gritting teams right away

Very big flakes, about 6-7/10 on the Murr Scale... If it's snowing here, most people should be fine!
