Very interesting to watch. Plenty of fuel coming in off the irish Sea to feed the ppn and it slowly veering towards us... What fun!!

But not looking great for those to the East of our region, but hopefully you will prosper in the coming days with the showers feeding off the North Sea, which very rarely reach here unless it is a streamer set-up.

(Snow is beginning to settle on the busy roads in the Oxford webcam, so it has some welly to it)

I think it's going to be rain by the time it reaches here, dew point is only -0.7 , temperature +0.8

that's under clear skies, once again IMO i'm gonna be wrong side of marginal, we'll see , might even fizzle out before it gets here

The ppn to the North is joining the 'Cheshire Gap Streamer' ppn. Amazing to watch. Bet Mr Murr will be gutted he was not able to see all of this unfold

Why can't this happen at a normal sodding time of day for once

Hahahahaha. Yup!

Still looking edgy for my location, squeaky bum time!

It certainly is, more fuel for the fire eh?

There seems to be a warm sector accompanying the ppn coming in from the North, so that won't help in the slightest.

Looks marginal for SE London and Chatham. I just woke up for a moment and now there's no chance of getting any sleep for hours.

SE sector will be OK for a few hours more before the warm sector funnels through

Update for you guys the stuff coming from the west midlands was pretty much snow from start to finish even at lower levels and very heavy snow so whoever it hits down there will be in for a good snowfall. Gd luck to you all.

PPN to the North looks likely to effect a larger area of our region, albeit it is currently much lighter
