We should have a vote...

All in favor of the polar low to deliver tonight say "YEAHHHHHH"

All that don't say "nahhhhh"

Lol

Interesting night to come :)

Thanks, I now know that the polar low is on its way tonight. Asked a few times but obviously not seen or maybe a load of members have me on the ignore list, woops :)

As this low approaches would it ibe causing a little more instability and sparking off these showers just to the north and west of a London?

Wasn't it supposed to hook a little further east as it heads inland? :D

Certainly looking like something just a touch further WSW of the NMM projection - looking good for many across the S and W of the region.

Absolutey... Its causing a disturbances.. Its like having a pan of hot oil... You throw water into it it goes mental and explodes.. You leave it to cool of nothing happens.

ROUTE 1

post-12648-0-67076700-1422564306_thumb.j

This takes the low somewhere between the IOW and Dover...  this is what you want to see the majority seeing snow...

ROUTE 2

post-12648-0-60772600-1422564348_thumb.j

Takes it somewhere between Plymouth and Poole? This is not what you want as really only the extreme western areas will see snow..

It's snowing in Bedford again. Just a shower and stopping now, but i've been very lucky today, :)

I'm keeping an eye on the one now passing the Wash (almost following the A17), as I suspect it may have my name on it.  Best of luck with the showers heading your way!

If it's a proper polar low, it'd be a busted flush by the time it tracked here, over land from NW Scotland.

Not sure that is a polar low.
