Nick Miller earlier today mentioned a separate system that would would bring snow to central parts and the south overnight. But it hasn't been mentioned by any of the other weathermen since...this must be it. The way it's intensified over the last hour is very encouraging. This, then the other feature for 7am tomorrow. All to play for

I see nothing! Certainly can hear the wind though as i watch the bit where Brooksy takes his life in shawshank redemption :(

you are a little to far east for the current showers you need them to build further east rather than west like they currently are

Must be a glitch? mine is -2C looking at XC weather no place in the region has a DP above 0.

here's a link... DP of 0.8ºc, temperature of 3.4ºc. (The one down the road says temp 3.4, DP 0.6)

http://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=ILONDON128

But it has just started snowing lightly!!! YAYYYYYY!!!

(RE-EDIT: was just a few flakes in the wind, but bodes well as the DP's and temps seem to be dropping fast)

Looking better with each radar run... any reports from Herts/Beds/Bucks?

The weather forecast not looking that encouraging for Monday and Tuesday. Despite suggestions that it would get colder next week, alas Darren Bett had temperatures of 6c both days and dry. He even said that it wouldn't feel as cold because of the lack of wind. Thaat feature on Tuesday looks like exiting into the North Sea before it reaches the South East, and only rain and sleet anyway according to Mr Bett.

It should build Daniel, but either way, you are likely to do well out of anything that the band to the East of Scotland reaches the South. But I'm sure that the energy that has been lost while it has been dawdling has transferred South and is helping with the convection over Northants, Lincs etc

Looking even better, especially for me!!! :)
