The 00:15 radar has it building still and making a beeline for  the West of our region, hopefully those in the East will see some as it builds.

Good luck all

Looks like they've peaked and are starting to die down already, I hope they re-intensify before they reach those of you west of me. I'm off to bed now. Cya tomorrow.

Yep We stay up just another 5 mins.................. then another 5

Unlike previous attempts I have some believe, by now usually we see precip breaking up. But it is going full steam ahead. Not long to go, to see how this transpires. Hmm weakened sightly, next frame is better.

Be great to see snow again

But don't think it will amount to anything.

Good call on the showers though mate

Again !!

Been radar watching for years, and rarely does our region fare well from a N'ly, but these showers over the past 24 hours have been building and building.

Bodes very well, meanwhile the band over Eastern Scotland is dawdling heavily, but seemingly feeding the convection near Humberside and West of the Wash (all of which is heading South)

All my BBC snow symbols have disappeared at pretty short notice? Hope they're wrong silly computer models!

I think i'd rather have a train of showers, compared to LP which is most likely to affect E of London. Not only that it increases marginality with slightly higher 850s, keep feeding away! :D

Must be a glitch? mine is -2C looking at XC weather no place in the region has a DP above 0.

Run the radar back a few frames.. How the showers still building?? What's feeding them..

Don't know, my guess would be a trough.

Those showers coming down from the midlands are fantastic, flipping east and west, I can't decide if we are in the firing line or not :D

So far this has been an utter **** winter in the South East (KENT), it hasn't been that cold, and when we did get snow it either rained before hand or turned to rain right after. Why is it so damn difficult to get even a couple of CM on the ground?

Why has it been so marginal?

First it was WED night, then look towards the weekend, now next week and even that is on a knife edge

bah

That's why I'm still here lol, think I'm to far east, but now there seems to be some building further east.
