Snow in Norwich now. Very wet on the ground though (raining non stop for the last 3 hours and heavy at times)

Hope that starts sinking south by about 12 miles. I'm getting bored lamp post watching the rain!!!

The mild sector will begin to clear through this evening, showers are already turning back to snow across Norfolk

I do feel for you Iceni - my mother is in hospital with pneumonia and heart failure 130 miles away from me here - we are up and down the motorway and the thought of snow is filling me with dread, luckily the small amount we had this morning didn't stop us getting there but reading about people getting depressed because there is not deep snow is probably not the best thing at the moment and I am trying to not look at the forums just the travel news. My thoughts are with you - it is a tough time.

it makes you realise that when you read about peoples grief and sorrow, why the heck are we getting depressed over will it or wont it snow, it all gets put into perspective. My thoughts are with you and everyone at this time

Anybody put together a snow risk chart?

Imnot going to, but basically draw a straight line down from Hull, anything south and east of that......could get some passing showers

Is the precipitation around the Norfolk area falling as rain or snow ?

Was very heavy rain/sleet in Norwich, raining in Fakenham but wind getting stronger

So called mild sector is eroding away.

LP is moving southwards very slowly, I say those counties most at risk are: Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent.
