Blizzard-like in Stevenage right now! But no sign of anything settling

Yes shame it rained so much before. The ground is soaked but coming down lovely now. Big, fat juicy lovely looking flakes

Yep unfortunately as shown last night the front moving across us at the moment does have some slightly higher Theta E values, along with DP's etc.

Rain now falling here on top of the snow from yesterday so looking pretty horrible out there at present.

Potentially a little more marginality to deal with during the next 12 hours but thereafter things start to look pretty conducive to snowfall once again.

The other encouraging thing is the nocturnal alignment of precipitation the next couple of nights - always helps if you like to see accumulating snow!

still very very light in this part of Stevenage. Where abouts are you? Sure I have asked before but forget. I am in simmons green. Trying to settle on top of hedges but thats about it. Everywhere else is soaked.

on the Euro4 it clearly shows the DPs rise from this morning compared to the afternoon, this is such a shame !!

I've very near the station. It's died down now but that little burst was enough to cover the windscreens. But it's not staying on the ground once it eases up....just a wet dusting on the grass

Same for me I very much doubt it, Euro4 looks rather good for this region. For perhaps some more organised snow, sunday morning as there is a buckle/disturbance in the flow moving down the East coast.
