Light sugar dusting on all surfaces looks to have eased I'm going to catch some sleep funny what a bit of snow can do to you.

Same here, great evening/night/morning of radar watching, with a bit of settling snow to boot!!

I'm amazed that it is still remaining on the roofs, means that temps weren't nearly as marginal as we feared.

Night all, and good luck everyone!!

Definately an 8/10 really heavy snow and huge flakes the sort of flakes where you can fix one one and watch it fall right from our third floor all the way to the ground.

great stuff , and once again unexpected.

This current blob is brilliant for Surrey and Sussex. Keep the snow reports coming. :good:

Heres the updated SE Met O forecast for later today onwards:

A cold day with outbreaks of rain and sleet, with snow on hills where a slight covering is possible. Perhaps just the odd brighter interval, mainly in the west. Maximum Temperature 5C.

Tonight:

Cold with further wintry showers, mainly affecting Kent where some snow may settle on the North Downs especially. Mainly dry with patchy frost elsewhere. Minimum Temperature 0C.

Sunday:

Further wintry showers on Sunday across Kent. Elsewhere it should be largely dry. Some sunny intervals are likely but the cold northerly wind will continue. Maximum Temperature 6C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Remaining cold throughout with widespread frost. Further snow showers likely these mainly confined to Kent at first, but they could push further inland by Wednesday.

Looking like some more prolonged ppn will slip through surrey down to exit around Brighton 1-3cm looking at the train starting if it can stick, earlier snow here still evident on roofs cars and grass just melted a tad on the road.. Looks like a spiral has started too..

Edit: 3cm being over higher ground
