Large flakes starting now, still light, but beginning to get heavier!

Superb!!!

Nothing here yet although it feels like it could go at any moment.

The roofs are beginning to get a covering, but not consistently heavy.

Bodes extremely well for a lot of our region though!

Need a quick de brief we due that stuff further north to? Looking at models quick glance does not really explain it well :/

All this is a surprise, not only for us, but the forecasters as well, so anything could happen, but right now it is looking extremely positive.

Still snowing here lightly, between about 2-4 on the Murr Scale.

A very interesting morning to come weather-wise, but in the short term, if I managed to get a covering from the tiny amount the radar indicates (See red dot over London), then there will be some fair accumulations to the West and SW of our region.

EDIT: (Temporarily (maybe permanently) stopped here, but a very nice surprise and well worth the wait for a snowstarved freak!)

RE-EDIT: (Going to see what that wee blob over Rickmansworth is doing  :D )

well the PPN should be here any minute, can't believe that I might just be on the right side or marginal for once, Dew Point holding at a steady -0.6 temperature still at 0.7 , guess I should get out of bed then

Can you tell me by looking at radar if I will get any

Possibly not, but the nature of the whole evening means it cant be ruled out. Further west in the region, the better probably.

Light sugar dusting on all surfaces looks to have eased I'm going to catch some sleep funny what a bit of snow can do to you.

Ppn building nicely to the SW of Northampton as well, with the bulk still chugging it's way down from the North.

Looking remarkably decent considering...
