The streamers have started firing up again in the Mersey and over North Wales, so it looks like the Midlands have a few more hours left. (Hopefully feeding us as well!!!)

"Taking more of a eastwards shift...."

YUP!! looking half decent for a change... A lot of surprised faces in the morning.

Looks very much like we'd get something out of this as a whole, fingers crossed eh,

temp is chillier than I expected +0.2C & dew point, -1.2C.

Not sure it will get this far east, (dover), but crossing my fingers anyway. Got to sleep now, night everyone and good luck with the snow.

It's slowed down on Brumcam, but it looks like the got a couple of inches or so there, with more to come it seems.

Meanwhile, the Met office have still failed to get a warning out?!?!?!?

Will it survive to London though

Yes if it gets here that is really nail biting stuff instinct tells me it's going to hit London & SE

This is tense, precipitation is also quite heavy. Nought marginal at this precise time.

I see this as a bit is protruding to the NE, so direct hit seems Oxford way.

We just need the Chilterns to help us out and not suck the life out of the ppn.

The surprise snowfalls are always the best.

Simply fantastic watching the snow falling via webcams. The ppn band is edging closer and closer  :D

MetO advised Croydon Council a few hours ago to expect light snow. We shall see!!

Some of the BBC forecasts a day or two ago said it would be mostly dry and to enjoy the sunshine etc etc.............I agree, many will be very surprised with the amount of snow

Quietly confident, a few will get something out of this. Radar watching at its best. :good:

feel this is better than last nights chance mate

It's heading just East of the IOW, will probably enter the channel between Portsmouth and Brighton - the finger of PPN on the Eastern side of it may effect W/SW London and the extreme West of the SE, but most of us will miss it I think.

The PPN of interest is the stuff over Northern England, should take a more SE track as it pushes into the Midlands

It does look that way, being a bit selfish here with my NIMBYism.  :D
