Much more like it, heavy convective snow showers spawning out N Sea, going far inland. :)

As I alluded to earlier this morning gathering support for firstly a North Easterly on Tuesday, with winds fairly slack down here not so much of an impact but places in the North-West of our Region like Peterborough, N Norfolk Coast etc should reap some rewards, the flow gets better for Wednesday and Thursday down here with more in the way of Snow Showers driving inland, still awaiting if we can get a full blown easterly by Friday but small steps in the right direction and trends on the models being consistant with the GEM, UKMO, GFS All singing from the same sheet from T96-T150 at present, have a feeling ECM Will also be on board later on as well.

Loads to look forward to for our part of the world

Little disturbance is anticipated tonight, showers moving southeastwards, these should fall mostly as snow as darkness descends proper, nothing on yesterday tho! giving the time of day, bar those at sea level it will be more wet & sleety, and yucky. Might get a dusting... probably another long night potentially.

For those to the West of Essex tonight will offer more promise no mild sectors eroding potential, as a whole wet bulb level is supportive for snow, even accumulations across the whole region.

I say past 9pm till morning it is conducive to snow for the majority Sod's law there will be no PPN.

Polar low is under scrutiny ATM whether it truely was a polar low, I like to think it is oh it may have been initially, nonetheless it did surprise many in Essex.. which were under my hatched lines. :p

As a snow lover it's good that I don't trust the BBC weather app on my phone as it shows only rain in Norwich for the coming days and temps up to 4 or 5c!

Nice cross model agreement on. NEasterly setting in end of next week. Just need the ECM to agree tonight and I'll be happy. Don't buy into all this talk of the high pressure being too far south, if we can draw the cold air in, even in a fairly slack flow then Kent, Essex and Sussex can get clobbered while the rest of the country stays dry. All a bit too far away yet but this is what we need to see in the far SE and offers the best hope for decent snow IMBY!
