What about my area? Or am I going to miss out?

You are on the South-Western tip of the precip band so unless you get any heavier outbreaks is likely to fall as rain.

Oh the irony that much of the South-East has ended up too far WEST, when just a few hours ago there were doubts whether or not it'd even reach the region. You honestly could not make it up! Still, another 10 days of cold so I'm sure they'll be more opportunities.

Let down count: 3

Successes: 0

What time is the main precip from the polar low meant to arrive?

Hahahahaha! Too blooming right! There is one final throw of the dice for those to the West of London... that last clump heading down, but the Chilterns may make that implode as well.

Either you laugh, or you cry eh?

the first band already has and is why Chelmsford is getting a hammering the second band is over Northampton ATM but the southern side of this band looks to be breaking up

Incredible snow avoidance here, yet again! That was our bloody snow and it's gone east again. Funnily enough exactly where regional weather said it wouldn't go, it's gone. Might as well be living back on the south coast again. Rubbish!!

Around a centimetre or two out there. No more real accumulations since the very heavy fall earlier.

Currently snowing a little still now, ok it's heavy with huge flakes again.

Net weather did what my snow did, it vanished! It was down for about an hour! Anyone else have the same problem? Doesn't matter, because my snow I was expecting actually fell as rain. 3.5c here at the moment.

Thing is, we never seen to bet 'bonus' snow. If we get some then it's generally worse elsewhere, like yesterday afternoon's shower. Then if it's forecast like this morning, it buggers off somewhere else! 42 year old tantrum time ;-)
