I'm cautiously optimistic regarding the polar low Nick has said Euro4 puts it further E with more cold air in circulation. I expect some in this region to be a recipient. And if it goes well you can expect a real good time.

Yup, there is definitely more attention to the possibility of the polar low causing some fairly widespread disruption, with the BBC graphics giving the London area a dusting.

2nd band just gone through and most definately rain here as well in Leigh On Sea.

 

Temperature has now dropped to 3c though, so for Steve that 2nd band was certainly NOT All snow mate

 

we was hail & snow @ 2C so nearly there.....

The latest forecast was pants enjoy the showers you have right now as Alex Deaken said will soon die out but did show a snow band for 4am maybe cliping London and southeast no accumulations expected he said

Snow falling here now,only light as most of that shower has now passed thru, but alas i can join in with the other bragging snow people on here now

Devastating isn't it. I prefer the types of cold spells where it's always cold enough for snow but just getting some precip is difficult.
