One or two light snow showers yesterday evening but most of the night was dry and clear.

Dry and mainly clear at the moment but no sunshine due to a bank of cloud to the south east.

Yesterday.

 

Variable cloud overnight, some clear spells, widespread frost. Turning mostly cloudy since dawn with a thin layer of low Stratus. Dry. Sunny spells developing through the morning, further low Stratus drifted in and turning very misty, foggy over hills for an hour or so around noon with a marked drop in temperature. Further sunny spells developing through the afternoon before thicker cloud brought a short spell of light rain and sleet, this clearing before dusk. Feeling cold.

Clear with a hard frost last night, little wind.

Sunny periods to 1330 then a layer of Cs blotted out the sun although with receding blue sky visible to the NE for a few more hours. Very cold, little wind, shade frost and ice lasted all day.

Coldest night or rather early morning of the winter with a hard frost of -4.0c did have an extra slight dusting of snow late yesterday.

Sunny and cloud today with it being the coldest day for awhile at 1.9c,light winds.

Snow still in the shade.

A frosty start giving a cold day with some sun and a few snow flurries,max 1 deg,min -1deg,a dusting of snow in places with full cover at 200m,3 inch + on high ground

Cloudy night, clear skies before dawn meant we started the day at -0.8C. Decreasing after sunrise to low of -1.8c. Bright spells thereafter a high of 6.2c by afternoon. Temperatures plummeting after dark, air frost by 4:30pm. Low of -4.4c by 11pm. Rainfall-Nil. 5mph N
