Yep sleet IMBY so further up definitely snowing. Looks like a big snow event for areas above 300 metres on sat evening and night. Early start for a walk me thinks before the hoards of janners come and clog the roads and paths up!

The same shower has just come in the form of a sleety mix here, we're predicted rain all evening/night!

However... Still yet to see snow...

Currently on bus, going up M32 out of central Bristol and bus being pounded by a v squally sleet shower.

Edit: Actually quite a lot of wet snow in the mix.

Yes - it came from nowhere, very heavy sleet/snow, temperature has plummeted!! Yippeeeeeeee!!! Not settled but unexpected all the same

Another shower incoming. On the bus coming home from work. Hoping to get back before it hits home can't have the good wife hogging all this wintriness fun.

I missed seeing what that shower band dropped here, didn't hear any rain hitting the window so I'll be miffed if I missed sleet/snow falling :p

Seems to be bands of ppn heading across the irish sea towards our patch. Could be more to come!

I think it uses NMM chart data to predict what type of precipitation it will be. Sometimes it's absolutely useless!

yeah i hope so dew point is now below 0c temps dropping like a stone, could be ripe for later.
