Nice update, only wish it said 'risk of sleet and snow' instead of rain s & s.....but hey better than last year.

Last year hurt I agree but lets not lose sight of the goal after one knock back.... If you get rejected once in a club you don't settle for the ugly one :rofl:  :D

Lol beggars can't be....ahem anyway moving on.

I'm pretty upbeat about it all as per my post, still be watching the 12z from behind the sofa though.

I'm near the sea, very near infact and it snowed on Tuesday night on a westerly air flow. So to discount anything at this range completely is pessimistic to say the least!

Sleet shower just passing through here with the occasional wet flake of snow ,mixed in.

 

we have hail/rain temps dropping along with the dew point.wind seems to have backed to a n/w.

Slight upgrade so far in this set of runs - the low is more elongated, further west and the warm sector is apparently further south!

Anymore pushes West, which seems to be happening with each run at the moment, with that slider lp and it'll only be the south West getting any precipitation lol

Looks like some snow is beginning to fall on Dartmoor now:

Yep sleet IMBY so further up definitely snowing. Looks like a big snow event for areas above 300 metres on sat evening and night. Early start for a walk me thinks before the hoards of janners come and clog the roads and paths up!

This situ is really fluid/dynamic, with snow reports on Dartmoor.

Today was meant to be fairly mild but it's only been 5/6c here in central Bristol all day.

Mild 'blip' never really turned up.

Yes BB, an unexpected snow shower between Tavistock and Yelverton, which is on the south side of Dartmoor. Quite surprising as Tavistock is well known for it's rain!!!
