I am finding it really hard to get excited about the next few days, think I just expect the worst as we seem to always sit back and watch country wide snow bar the west country.

 

Very sceptical until we are literally 6 hours from the event and I can see ppn on radar..

Incidentally, my Meto App has me down for heavy snow Saturday night/Sunday morning. Surely that's a good thing?

The updated forecast has snow into early morning Sat, but anything lying will probably melt due to high temps. Also again into Sunday morning...

At lower levels I wouldn't expect anything to stick as it probably would be wet snow or sleet here due to the marginality but like a couple of days ago, higher areas such as the Mendips could keep any covering the may get, especially night falls.

All speculation at this stage yet anyway as we can't even be sure if it is or isn't going to snow yet.
